Q. Do you pay royalties on the music you play?

A. Yes! We sure do. We pay royalties to all Performance Rights Organizations (PROs) that we are required to based on the music that we play.



Q. I’m an independent artist, will you play my music on Kbluz?

A. We love indie artists! We think that it’s very important for us to promote indie artists as well as signed artists. So if your music is either ‘pure’ blues or exhibits a strong blues heritage we’ll be more than glad to take a listen to it. If your music meets our technical quality standards as well as our performance quality standards, then we’ll be thrilled to play it. It’s our intention to broadcast the largest collection of quality blues music on the planet. We mean it when we call ourselves ‘The King of Blues Radio!’.

Whether you’re an indie artist or a signed artist, if you have music that you would like for us to play, please contact us via our MySpace site or go to our Contact Us page and tell us where we can listen to your music on the web. If you don’t have your music on the web, please ask for information about sending us either mp3’s or CD’s that we can evaluate. We’ll be glad to give you an honest assessment of your music.
